Photo Tips
Photos don’t need to be perfect, or even “portraits” of your dog or other subject. They just need to be clear enough for me to see the subject e.g. the dog’s face and eyes.- It doesn’t matter if the subject is small in the photo, or if there are other animals or people in the photo, as long as the image is reasonably clear.
- If you are taking photos of a dog or other animal, take the photographs in good, even light which gives plenty of contrast on their coats. Photos taken in shadow or low light, or in very bright sunshine, may not be clear enough.
- Front-on photos are nice, but for an artwork a better shot of an animal is slightly side on, still being able to see the eyes.
Digital photos and/or prints are fine, no matter how old or faded, as long as I can see the subject reasonably clearly.- The more photos the better – to help me create an accurate image of your chosen subject.
